Brittany currently resides in Northern Michigan and is the mother of two daughters, ages 7 and 10.  She is an an avid fitness junkie (currently training for a half marathon) with a strong passion for health and nutrition. She spent 8 years traveling across the country in a 5th wheel with her husband, all while homeschooling both of her daughters. She lives for adventure, craves learning new and improved ways of doing things, loves meeting and getting to know new people, and COFFEE!

Our Team Member Job Description

TEAM MEMBER:  

Part-Time and Full-Time, Work from Home Positions  (may include nights, weekends and holidays)​

ABOUT OUR COMPANY:  

At HigherRing, we provide competitive companies with high-touch, white glove customer support while proudly investing in American workers and their communities.

ROLE:  

Team Members are positive and energetic self-starters who are comfortable stepping into high gear and exercising their own judgement to deliver superior customer support via phone, email and other support channels. Team Members may also be involved in work such as data entry or other specialized tasks as requested.

POWERS:

  • Act as a customer’s primary point of contact for our clients

  • Take the initiative to solve customer issues

  • Express a non-biased, interested, interactive and genuinely helpful attitude

  • Think and act positively and creatively to deliver support that goes above and beyond customers’ expectations

  • Honestly, proactively and positively communicate with clients and management to help foster great client relationships, and to promote healthy teamwork and company growth

 

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

  • Keen problem-solving skills, and the ability to think on your feet

  • Strong active listening skills

  • Ability to use positive language to drive a positive and satisfactory outcome

  • The understanding of the importance of the client relationship and the ability to foster a healthy, collaborative environment with client partners

  • The ability to maintain a positive attitude even on a tough day

  • Professional demeanor with good conflict resolution skills and with the ability to raise concerns in a healthy manner.  

  • Dedicated and dependable work ethic; ability to work independently with a good understanding of the importance of timeliness and the importance of maintaining schedule commitments or planning ahead to ensure that scheduled shifts can be covered in case of absence

  • Flexibility around scheduling, with the understanding that, while HigherRing strives to provide stable schedules, available hours are dependent on our clients’ needs and best business practices

  • Fluency in oral and written English; excellent grammar and spelling skills; second language is a plus

  • Computer skills, including familiarity using multiple browsers, tabs, window navigations and instant messaging tools; experience with CRM systems is a bonus

  • Quiet, distraction-free workspace in your home that includes a door that closes

  • Direct connection from computer to router/modem via Ethernet cable (satellite or wireless Internet (WiFi) is not acceptable)

  • Strong Internet bandwidth: You must have a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps, upload speed of 3 Mbps, and a maximum ping of 50 from a reliable provider to run our platforms.  To ensure the security of client data, team members may not use satellite, cell phone hot spots, public networks, or wifi connections.
